upcoming opportunities to serve
On Wednesday March 24 we are putting on a free morning tea for the teachers at Goodwood Primary School . We need people to bake muffins or cookies and people to serve at school.
We will be handing out postcards advertising our Easter services at the Unley Shopping Centre on Thursday 25 March from 5pm . We will also be giving out Easter eggs. We need people to donate Easter eggs and people to hand them out with a smile at the shopping centre.
During a Saturday in March we will be cleaning the house and garden of a lady whose child is sick. We need people to clean inside the house (floors, kitchen & bathrooms) and people to tidy the garden (weeds, lawns & sweeping). Date/s are forthcoming.
Please contact the church or Carolyn Kelly if you can lend your assistance to any or all of these causes.

kids club
April Kids Club (6th to the 9th) is coming up in a month after Easter so please register your kids before the 28th of March. They will really enjoy themselves!

Impact Youth Group and the Acts of Random Kindness group are teaming up to provide a delicious morning tea for the staff at Goodwood Primary School . Youth Group will be cooking yummy food for this event. Meet at 6PM for a fun night in the kitchen. Please contact Rosalie if you have any queries.
wec and betel international event
You are invited to hear Keith and Lolita Bergmeier tell some amazing stories of men and women who have been freed from drug abuse and train to pioneer new centres throughout Asia .
The Bergmeier's have been working with Betel (a drug rehab centre that's spreading all over the world) for over ten years and are in SA for only 3 days.
Please come along Saturday March 27th at 7pm Hawthorn Church of Christ. Book stall and supper to follow.

bethany home
Emmanuel College is going on a trip to Bethany Home in Malaysia which is a home that assists families with disabilities. The students from Emmanuel are heading across to Malaysia and there has been a request for any old (working) mobile phones with (working) rechargers. If you have a phone which meets these requirements please contact Hannah Fabig or you can drop them off at the church office.
